I really need some advice on how to go about tackling an entity relationship diagram. I have to design one based on an application and have to show the cardinality and optionality of each relationship which I identify. I understand what this means and have looked over some examples on this but I am finding it hard to relate what I have got.![Question Question](/uploads/1/2/5/8/125856582/506073338.jpg)

The entities which I have identified so far are: Client, Application, Reports, Interfaces
Also, what is the standard (if there is one) for representing Application, Business, Interface(s), etc. layers in a diagram?
